Alarm
Anyone can get into trouble. With SoftAlarm® in your mobile you can easily call for help via SoftAlarm´s alarm button or any of the other security functions SoftAlarm offers. These functions allow you to alerting your friends, colleagues, but also alerting to a emergency response centre.
Receiving Alarms
SoftAlarm are unique in that we have developed a Mobile Personal Responce Centre™. If you send an alarm from your mobile, will your friends and colleagues in their phones see information to be able to help you. For example, they can see your position, in a map on their mobile phones along with your address and other information. Also, do they know which ones other people have responded to your alarm.
Instant Alarm
This service offers the user the ability to trigger alerts with SoftAlarm's alarm button. Alerts are sent by holding the button for two seconds. For those who use SoftAlarm for Android, this service also provides two additional alarm functions:
- Safety Mode, which makes it possible to trigger an alert with two presses of the volume keys when the screen is sleeping
- Status Bar Alert, which provides an alarm button for the Android status bar.
Find
In the event that you can't get hold of one of your alarm contacts - they don't answer the phone, or don't come home on time, we have a function where you can easily check the location of that person.
From the map screen, you tap 'Find contact', and select your alarm contact.
Your app will now contact the app on your alarm contact's phone. Within a minute or two you will receive an answer with his or her location on the map screen. To find an alarm contact who has an iPhone requires recipients app is active or the user starts the app when it receives a push notification to the SoftAlarm.
ManLost
For those who work underground or are otherwise required to be in potentially dangerous locations with limited or no signal coverage, we've developed the ManLost safety function.
With this function, you can estimate the time you will be away, set the ManLost timer and leave the phone in your car.
If you are not back before the timer has run out, an alarm will be triggered to your Alarm Receivers.
They will receive the same information in their smartphones as if you sent the alarm yourself.
ManDown
This service is designed to send an alert when the user has been immobile for a certain time. The time can be set by the user, and the phone can be carried in a pocket, bag or purse while ManDown is active. When activated, the service can remain active and keep monitoring for longer periods of time, for example a work day, until it's shut off.
ManDown is only available for SoftAlarm for Android.
