D-Safety AB is a company registered in Sweden under the ID 556810-0829 ("D-Safety").
With SoftAlarm, we dedicate ourselves to develop and sell mobile apps and web services for enhanced personal safety and security, for businesses as well as private users.
In order to do this this, the SoftAlarm web services will require some information from you, as a user.
Our systems will store information about your use of the SoftAlarm apps, mobile devices and web services.
D-Safety will request information from other third party services needed in order to enable you as a user to communicate over different mobile phones and platforms.
The "D-Safety Privacy Policy" is intended to describe the type of personal information we may collect from you, why we collect it, and how we handle that information.
1. How personal information is collected
When you sign up for a SoftAlarm account,
use one of the apps or purchase SoftAlarm's products and services available on www.softalarm.se,
we may ask you for certain personal information such as email address, name, your phone number, your phone's operating system and its version.
2. How we use personal information
We will use your personal information to provide access to your account, the products and services that you have purchased, to make sure you receive the correct products, services and support, and to make sure your communication is done in the least expensive way and that any messages sent through our services reach their intended recipient.
3. Sending and sharing information between users
The SoftAlarm apps and related web services are developed to make it easy to send and receive safety commands and information between users. This information may include GPS locations of the involved users. We always make sure that only the users directly involved in this communication share information. Please note that due to the nature of SoftAlarm, the other party in these exchanges is a person that you have personally accepted to have this type of interaction with.
4. Sending, storing information between/in countries
As noted in 3, D-Safety's users can send safety and security information between each other. In the case where two users are in different countries, this information can be communicated across borders. We only store data on our servers in Sweden and according to applicable law.
5. Security
D-Safety and our SoftAlarm services have several ways to keep your personal information secure from unauthorized access. We require strong password security. In addition, we encrypt data before we send it over the networks in order to keep your privacy.
We comply with EU legislation on data protection.
6. Contact in case of incorrect personal information
You can always see and modify your registered information in your SoftAlarm account on this website. If you are having trouble doing so, please send an email to support@d-safety.se. We will respond to your request as soon as possible.
7. Cookies
SoftAlarm.se uses cookies as a way to determine whether or not a visitor is logged in, and to keep track of what account they are logged in as. For more information, click here.
8. Changes to this D-Safety Privacy Policy
We will update this Policy whenever it is required and post it on this site.
